Well, I'm having a little trouble critiqueing your stuff as I can't tell to well which peices are just for fun and which are serious for art. However, the recuring butterfly theme leads me to suggest that you go pick up butterfly book at the library or something and pour over forever until you can draw several different kinds of real butterflies and use your knowledge to help you make up some of your own. The way you've integrated the face and the butterfly in [go figure] "ButterflyFace" is a good first step that would really benefit from these types of studies.

Another good thing would be to decide whether your 'people' drawing is going to move more toward realistic [drawing people the way they would really look or capture real likenesses] or otherwise [like the anime/comic book stuff Rachel, Ashley, and I draw]. It really helps to start out with one or the other when you are still discovering you visually artistic identity and then, as you become more adept, to branch out into new and different styles.

Of course you must always draw with your heart, so all of this may not help you if it's not where your heart wants to take you.
